Suncorp has selected Australian insurtech Codafication’s Crunchwork platform to support its property claims process as the insurer seeks to improve how claims are managed.
The platform will help Suncorp improve oversight of property claims, coordinate stakeholders and streamline the handling of assessments and repairs.
It will also support the insurer in developing new operating models for claims.
Crunchwork is designed to provide faster straight-through processing, clearer workflow tracking and greater operational visibility across the claims supply chain.
It connects customers, insurers, assessors and supply chain partners, allowing them to share information and track claim progress.
Suncorp selected Codafication following a competitive request-for-proposal process that included large international technology vendors.
Codafication co-founder and managing director Dan Sandaver said the company would continue to work with Suncorp on claims technology deployments.
Codafication was founded in Australia and has been self-funded for 11 years. The company has nearly 60 full-time employees in Brisbane and is expanding into North America and New Zealand.
