Allianz Partners has launched its next generation travel insurance ecosystem in Australia in its Metaportal platform.
Customers can activate and manage their travel insurance covers online, and can personalise it by selecting additional cover and benefits, Allianz Partners said in a statement on 28 September 2026.
Additional options include insurance coverage for cruise, snow sports, and adventure travel. Customers can also select higher cancellation limits and extend trip durations.
Customer expectations have evolved that a one-size-fits-all proposition is no longer suitable for all their needs, said Damiel Arthur, executive head of travel, Allianz Partners Australia.
“Today’s travellers want [a] cover that reflects how, where and why they travel, while businesses want solutions that build stronger customer relationships and support long-term loyalty,” Arthur said in the statement.
