Airpaz customers can obtain digital policies directly when booking flights through its website or mobile application.
Tune Protect Group Berhad has expanded its travel insurance partnership with online booking platform Airpaz into Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, following its initial roll-out in Malaysia.
The offering is managed through Tune Protect’s reinsurance arm, Tune Protect Re.
Under the arrangement, travellers can purchase embedded travel insurance directly during the flight booking process on the Airpaz website or mobile application, receiving instant digital policy issuance.
The coverage is underwritten by regional insurance partners in each market: Tune Protect Malaysia in Malaysia, Oona
Insurance Indonesia in Indonesia, Krungthai Panich Insurance in Thailand, and Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corporation in the Philippines.
Janet Chin, CEO of Tune Protect Re, stated that the expansion strengthens the group’s regional presence across Southeast Asian markets characterised by growing traveller populations and high digital adoption.
Wesley, Chief Partnership Officer of Airpaz, added that integrating insurance into the booking process enhances convenience and provides additional value for platform users.
