Claims and servicing remain handled through SGI’s established processes.
Shriram General Insurance (SGI) has partnered with Indian non-bank financial company SK Finance Limited to expand access to general insurance through the lender’s network of more than 700 branches.
Under the corporate agency partnership, SGI will offer its general insurance products through SK Finance’s branch network and other designated distribution channels.
The partnership will allow SK Finance customers to access insurance products through its existing financing network, whilst SGI will manage claims and servicing through its established processes.
The partnership combines SGI’s general insurance experience with SK Finance’s distribution network, with the companies aiming to increase awareness and access to insurance protection across the markets they serve.
