PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Limited has declared its highest-ever annual bonus of approximately $12.1b (INR1,210 crore) for participating policyholders for the 2025 to 2026 financial year.
The payout marks a 16.25% increase from the $10.4b (INR1,041 crore) bonus declared in FY 2024-25, benefiting around 551,000 policyholders.
The bonus applies to eligible policies active as of 31 March 2026, including plans such as the PNB MetLife Century Plan, PNB MetLife Endowment Savings Plan Plus, PNB MetLife Super Saver Plan, Met Suvidha (Par), MetLife Endowment Savings Plan, and Met Monthly Income Plan.
Managing Director and CEO Sameer Bansal stated that the payout reflects the performance of the firm’s participating funds and its long-term investment strategy, as the insurer marks 25 years of operations in India.
