Rob Jones brings more than 10 years of specialist sector experience
Markel Insurance has appointed Rob Jones as Sustainable Energy and Power Underwriter, relocating him from the firm’s London office to Singapore.
The move aims to strengthen the energy underwriting operations of Markel, a division of Markel Group Inc., across the Asia-Pacific region.
In his new role, Jones reports to Aminah Sulaiman, Senior Underwriter – Energy. He will focus on driving the growth of Markel’s renewables and power portfolio in Asia-Pacific, whilst managing broker and client relationships.
Jones brings over 10 years of specialist energy insurance experience to the position, including nearly six years in Markel International’s claims division in London.
