Philipp Kroetz takes over Allianz Partners on 1 November 2026.
Allianz Group has announced executive appointments at Allianz Partners and Allianz Direct to succeed Tomas Kunzmann following his appointment to the Allianz SE Board of Management.
Philipp Kroetz, currently CEO of Allianz Direct, will become CEO of Allianz Partners, effective 1 November 2026.
Kroetz has led Allianz Direct since January 2022, expanding its customer base to over 3.2 million across five European markets.
Laurent Floquet, Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Partners since January 2025, will succeed Kroetz as CEO of Allianz Direct on 1 November 2026.
Floquet joined Allianz Group in 2014 following more than a decade as a partner at Accenture.
Allianz stated that a successor to Floquet’s current role as Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Partners will be named in due course. Both appointments remain subject to regulatory approval.
