The insurer will cover retail and commercial products on one modular platform.
Newly licensed Indian general insurer Protec General Insurance has selected insureMO to build an AI-native insurance core as it prepares to launch and scale retail and commercial insurance products.
The partnership will give Protec an API-based, microservices platform covering product configuration, rating and quotation, underwriting, policy issuance and servicing, billing and payments, claims, document generation and distribution.
Protec will use insureMO’s APIs to connect with distribution channels and ecosystem partners and launch or modify products more quickly.
The platform is also designed to support AI-powered product configuration and reduce the cost of API integration.
Aditya Sharma, Managing Director and CEO of Protec General Insurance, said the technology would give the insurer the flexibility and speed to introduce products and respond to changing market needs.
insureMO said its API-first architecture allows insurers to assemble and adapt individual insurance capabilities without relying on traditional monolithic systems.
Protec is a newly licensed general insurer in India. The company’s partnership with insureMO was announced at the Global Fintech Festival 2026 in Mumbai.
